Breaking news, friends: The House just passed the Build Back Better bill, which includes protections for millions of immigrants in the form of a Parole program.
Parole would mean work permits and protections from deportation for millions. But let’s be clear: while this is a step in the right direction, this is NOT the pathway to citizenship that we demanded.
Now, the Build Back Better bill heads to the Senate, where Democrats will have the chance to add a real pathway to citizenship in their version of the bill — and we’re taking action to make sure they do just that.
Rush a contribution today to help us keep up the fight for a pathway to citizenship. We’ll need your support to take our fight to the Senate.

Despite their shortcomings, work permits and protections would change the lives of millions in our community. This would not have been possible without the leadership and action of immigrant youth.
But even though this might allow many to adjust their status through their families, it leaves the vast majority of folks in a temporary status that will end in 2031.
That’s why our fight continues.
Democrats must do whatever it takes to deliver on the promises they’ve made to their voters and millions of undocumented immigrants in their districts and states; they must protect immigrants from detention and deportation, and pass citizenship for millions.
United We Dream Action is taking our advocacy to the Senate to demand they add a real pathway to citizenship. Rush a contribution to support our demands that Senate Democrats fulfill their promises and protect immigrant communities.
