Team—
On December 1, we'll be at the U.S. Supreme Court defending abortion access in our case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization—the most consequential abortion rights case in generations. This case challenges Mississippi's ban on abortion after just 15 weeks of pregnancy and is a direct threat to Roe v. Wade.
As the future of abortion rights and access hangs in the balance, it's time to let the world know why #AbortionIsEssential!
On Tuesday, November 23, join us for a Digital Day of Action where we'll band together to make our voices heard. Share why abortion is essential—to you, to those you love, and to your communities—on social media. Check out these graphics and posts you can share to help shape the narrative. It's up to all of us to ensure the majority is heard!
Then, on December 1, join us and our partners in rallying for abortion rights in Washington, D.C., Jackson, Mississippi, or virtually from home!
RSVP for the Washington D.C. rally, organized by the Center and our partners at the National Abortion Access Coalition, here.
If you can't attend in person, check out our Facebook event page for more information on a livestream of the day's events!
SHERo, Mississippi in Action, and Planned Parenthood Southeast will also be hosting a rally. You can find more information about the Abortion Freedom Fighters event in Jackson, Mississippi on December 1 here.
There's no middle ground: Any ruling upholding Mississippi's ban guts the central holding of Roe v. Wade and our right to make fundamental decisions about our lives, our futures, and our families.
We hope you'll join us in making our voices heard!
In solidarity,
Center for Reproductive Rights
