Earlier this week, the House censured conspiracy-theorist Paul Gosar, after he tweeted an animated video depicting him, a sitting member of congress, committing violence against Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez and attacking President Biden.

Republicans failed to condemn Gosar’s violent video, even criticizing the censure and calling it “unprecedented.” Congresswoman Lauren Boebert went further in defending Gosar, and attacked other members of the squad with hateful and racist statements.

Right-wing extremists are targeting the Squad with violent cartoons and inflammatory rhetoric. Since they were elected, AOC, Ilhan Omar, and other members of the Squad have become a subject of smears from the extreme right, in order to energize the Republican base.

For as long as AOC, Ilhan, and other Justice Democrats are fighting for working people in Congress — these hateful and violent attacks will continue. Will you chip in $3 to stand with us and help defend the Squad?
