Newsletter October 30, 2019

Dear Friends,

We will be moving to our new location throughout the week of October 28. During this time, our staff might only have limited access to phones or email. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you. Starting November 4, we will be located on 1377 R St. NW on the third floor.

Please note that all Fall 2019 Intensive and Standard German classes will continue to take place in our 1990 K St. NW classrooms through late November. Beginning in December 2019, all German classes and exams will take place at our new location.

Join us on November 6 as we reopen our doors for an all-day celebration of our new home at The Liz. Starting at 3:00 pm, we will host a party and open house featuring educational and cultural programming available to everyone in the community. With snacks and refreshments throughout the day, we welcome you to celebrate with us, find out about our programs, enjoy a pretzel or two, and dance the night away.

No RSVP required to any events.

We look forward to welcoming you next week to Goethe at The Liz!

Wiesn in a Box

What better way to celebrate German-American friendship than with a year of traveling Oktoberfests? With our three “Wiesn in a Box” trailers, we brought beer, pretzels, and a modern Oktoberfest vibe to towns across America for the past year. Find the Wiesn team and one of the boxes just outside our new location, enjoy a pretzel or two, and clelebrate German-American friendships, old and new!
