John, when I visited America's southern border back in October, I joined other
Republican governors in calling on the Biden Administration and Congressional
Democrats to take immediate action to stem the flow of illegal border crossings.

 

President Trump was right that our country needs to secure our nation's
southern border.

Ohio may not be on the southern border but the fentanyl and drugs that come
across are killing thousands of Ohioans.

 

Just this week, the CDC announced that between May 2020 and April 2021, more
than 100,000 Americans died from drug overdoses. That is a 30% rise over the
previous year!

 

This is one of the very real consequences that the Democrat inaction on the
border is fueling.We need to secure our southern border NOW. The Biden
Administration’s failure to act will continue to devastate Ohio families.

 

This is just one of the many reasons it will be critical to support our
Republican candidates up and down the ballot in the upcoming elections. But I'm
