What a historic week for our nation, friend. President Joe Biden signed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act into law and I joined my House colleagues in passing the Build Back Better Act.

This legislation is a long-overdue investment in the American people, which will make childcare more affordable, combat the climate crisis, and create good-paying jobs among many other things.

Help us build on this momentum by pitching into my re-election campaign today. Even $25 can go a long way towards protecting our slim Democratic majority so we can continue doing the people’s work.

Let me explain what building back better really means. Under this bill, we will:

Create universal pre-k and make childcare more affordable
Lower the cost of prescription drugs
Extend the Child Tax Credit for another year
Expand financial aid for college students
Shift to renewable energy sources to combat climate change

Firstname/ You see, none of this would have been possible without our Democratic House majority. It’s because of folks like you who organized, chipped in, voted, and supported Democrats up and down the ballot in 2020, that we’re able to pass this once-in-a-generation legislation.

Republicans are determined to obstruct our progress at any cost. Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy spoke for eight hours on the House floor in a desperate attempt to block passage of the Build Back Better Act. If Republicans take back the majority in 2022, you can bet they’ll work to reverse all of the progress we’ve made.

We’re literally working day and night to help put our country back on track, and I need you with me.

Next year, we have the chance to keep pushing forward with large investments that will benefit Michigan and the country -- but I can’t win re-election without you. Will you chip in $25 or more today to keep MI-11 blue and hold our House majority?

Let’s start building back better.
