John—Let me put this plainly: The Supreme Court is about to hear arguments in a case that could spell the end to the constitutional right to abortion.

With the chance to overturn Roe v. Wade before the Supreme Court’s anti-choice majority, there has never been a more urgent moment for our movement to come together and take action.

The day of action will take place on Wednesday, December 1 , just as the Court begins hearing arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization , a case about Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban.

Jackson Women’s Health will be the most pivotal case on abortion heard by the Court in almost 50 years. The outcome of this case could have dramatic consequences for the future of abortion access and reproductive freedom in this country.

We can’t afford to sit on the sidelines. This moment demands something of each of us.

NARAL’s 2.5 million members and our partners across the movement are building support for the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA), a bill that would protect the right to abortion throughout the country—even if Roe is overturned. The bill has already passed the House and our focus is now on ensuring the Senate passes this crucial legislation.
