The House just passed the Build Back Better Act, the most significant investment in climate action in U.S. history.

Now, we're one step closer to staving off the worst impacts of the climate crisis and fulfilling the climate promises that Biden ran and won on. Now, the Senate must pass the bill and send it to Biden's desk without delay.

Historic investments. Millions of good jobs building the clean energy economy. Environmental justice. Pollution reductions. Clean energy tax incentives. Civilian Climate Corps. Clean Energy Accelerator. When we say this bill contains transformational climate action, we mean it.

I really need to emphasize this: If passed, this will be a huge victory for climate champions across the movement and in Congress who've been fighting for this for years. (Today's vote is already a huge victory for this community. In no small part due to our recent organizing campaign targeting conservative House Democrats, which many of you participated in, all but one—Jared Golden (ME-02)—voted for this bill!) This bill is an essential investment toward President Biden's goal of cutting climate pollution in half over the coming decade and avoiding the worst impacts of this crisis.

But we're not in the clear yet: Senate Democrats must pass the Build Back Better Act ASAP, and we need to make sure our senators are hearing from us directly.
