Raleigh, NC — North Carolina Republican Party Chairman Michael Whatley released the following statement:

"After five weeks of hiding from the public, House Democrats finally put it on display for the country to see: they have no interest in governing on behalf of the American people. Numerous outlets have reported on the blowback of this sham investigation and nearly sixty percent of the country is against impeachment. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats are making a mockery of the Constitution in an attempt to lead a coup against a duly elected President. This will not stand and it will not be forgotten in 2020."
