On Wednesday, David voted to censure GOP Rep. Paul Gosar.

Team: Representative Paul Gosar has gone too far.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) recently posted an anime video depicting himself killing his colleague Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and lunging at President Joe Biden with two swords.

On Wednesday, David voted to censure GOP Rep. Paul Gosar.

And, with a vote of 223-207, this historic move has resulted in the censure of Rep. Gosar and his subsequent removal from two key committees. But 207 Republicans voted against this measure, essentially condoning Rep. Gosar's behavior.

The video Rep. Gosar shared is vicious and terrorizing. It hasn’t even been a year since members of Congress, including AOC, received death threats from Trump loyalists and feared for their lives as the insurrectionists stormed the Capitol on January 6.

Paul Gosar called these violent insurrectionists "peaceful patriots". And now, he’s riling them up even further, placing his colleagues and our democracy in danger.

David was proud to co-sponsor this measure to censure Rep. Gosar for his despicable behavior, but we need your help. Will you sign this petition to support the House of Representatives’ decision to censure Paul Gosar?

The Democratic Majority does not make this decision lightly, but it's time to say enough is enough. Help us send a message to Republicans that this kind of behavior is intolerable in any workplace — including the halls of Congress.

Thank you.
