Today I was proud to vote in favor of the Build Back Better Plan, but I wanted to make sure that you knew exactly what building back better means for Delaware and the country as a whole. But first, can you chip in $5 to help me win reelection and keep fighting for you in Washington?

First off, it means tax cuts. Over 50 million families would see their taxes go down because of the Build Back Better Plan -- one of the largest middle-class tax cuts in history. Beyond that, it would create a fairer tax system, so the ultra-wealthy will finally pay their fair share of taxes.

It also means jobs. From investments in job training to combating climate change, we’ll create tens of thousands of blue-collar jobs, and making sure everyone can access child-care would strengthen our workforce and our economy.

Finally, it means a better future for our children. From universal pre-k to preventing childhood hunger to lower-cost higher education, children in every zip code will have the support they need to succeed.

These aren’t Democratic or Republican issues, they are issues facing Americans of all backgrounds and political affiliations, and it’s my number one priority that they are addressed in this Congress.
