Governor Ducey hosted fellow governors from around the nation in Phoenix this week for the Republican Governors Association's annual conference. They discussed policy wins and ideas, the strategies their states have taken to recover, and the importance of electing conservative leaders across the nation this coming election.

The Governor and his colleagues also welcomed Virginia Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin as the newest member of the RGA.

In between panels, discussions and meetings, the Governor took time to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in Arizona's communities.

Governor Ducey Invests $100 Million To Expand High-Speed Broadband ([link removed])
The program, known as the Arizona Broadband Development Grant Program, will enable local communities to construct or improve broadband infrastructure that connects Arizonans in their homes and serves schools, libraries, small businesses, public safety operations and more.

Governor Ducey’s $400,000 investment will go to the American Heart Association, who will collaborate with neonatal intensive care units in Maricopa County hospitals to reach 5,000 families annually with Infant CPR Anytime Kits.

Governor Ducey Announces $375,000 To Support After-School Programs ([link removed])
The Tee Up Healthy Students Program utilizes golf to provide educational programs that build character, instill values and promote healthy choices. The Governor’s investment of federal funding will help fund a virtual curriculum, sports equipment, potential transportation support and other program needs in Title 1 schools, benefiting students and families in need.

Governor Ducey Orders Flags At Half-Staff To Honor Mesa Fire Capt. Trevor Madrid ([link removed])
Governor Ducey ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, November 18, 2021, to honor retired Mesa Fire and Medical Department Captain Trevor Madrid. On Sunday, November 14, Captain Madrid passed away in the line of duty after a battle with occupational-related cancer.
