We are writing to you about something even scarier than ghosts and goblins: Mitch McConnell’s self-proclaimed graveyard.

The House has been busy over the past 10 months, passing 300 bills this session. However, there is one problem – the Majority Leader has blocked critical bills from reaching the Senate floor, so those bills have been going right to the graveyard .

Jahana and her colleagues passed life-saving gun violence prevention measures , including universal background checks. They reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act . They passed the Equality Act to ensure equal protection under the law for LGBTQ Americans . They passed the Raise the Wage Act to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour. They passed the bill affirming the United States' record on the Armenian Genocide . The list goes on and on...
