This morning, my House colleagues and I passed the transformative Build Back Better bill that, if passed by the Senate, will make an immediate positive impact on our country and our Central Virginia community.

The bill covers a lot, but here are a few highlights from this once-in-a-generation investment in our future. In short, Build Back Better will:

🍃 Invest in addressing climate change in a meaningful way

🧒 Extend the refundable child tax credit, helping tens of millions of families

🩺 Lower prescription drug costs and limit price increases

🏫 Expand access to early childhood education for children nationwide

Passing Build Back Better through the House is the first step in putting these impactful policies into law, and its passage shows what we can accomplish in Congress. It also reminds us how crucial it is that we win this race in 2022 so we can continue making a positive impact for our country and its future.
