Historic legislation like the Build Back Better Act only passes when we have a groundswell of support from the grassroots on up. Together, CHN and our coalition partners helped direct more than 500,000 messages directly to members of Congress. Thank you, John, for bringing us to this moment.

Now, with the fight moving to the Senate, our work is not done. One last obstacle to passing Build Back Better in the Senate is concern over inflation.

With inflation higher than it’s been in decades, some have wrongly pointed the finger at government spending and worry President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda will contribute to further price increases. That couldn't be further from the truth, however.

The passage of the Build Back Better Act in the House takes a monumental step toward investments not seen since FDR's New Deal.
