I’m heading back home and wanted to let you know that the House just passed the Build Back Better Act!

There’s a lot in the bill, so here are a few quick highlights:

The bill will lower costs for families - from child care to health care, drug costs, and home care for seniors.
Our bill will help get our economy moving and get Americans back to work through job training and historic boosts for clean energy manufacturing.
It cuts taxes for families, and no one making under $400,000 will see any tax increases.
Build Back Better is fully paid for by making the wealthy and corporations pay their fair share -- and Wall Street experts agree that the bill will not add to inflationary pressures.

There will be more to share as the bill moves ahead. The Senate must now act, and I’ll be working to protect the progress we’ve made and get this bill over the finish line.

We’re getting things done - and that has Washington Republicans scared. After passing a $2 trillion debt-increasing tax plan when they had control of the White House and Congress, they are now doing all they can to stop our efforts to lower costs for American families and get our economy moving.

That's why Washington Republicans are targeting districts like ours - they want to scare us into stopping our efforts to help the American people recover, rebuild and thrive.
