But here’s the scariest of them all: Mitch McConnell’s graveyard.

Since Democrats won back the House, they passed life-saving gun violence prevention measures, including universal background checks. They reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act. They passed the Equality Act to ensure equal protection under the law for LGBTQ Americans. They passed the Raise the Wage Act to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

And yet not a single one of these legislative priorities have come up for a vote in the Senate.

The Majority Leader prides himself on his ability to bury legislation he doesn’t like. Well that’s not the way should work in the United States Senate and Ted will not stand for it as Georgia’s next Senator.

We need action – not obstruction – to solve the big challenges this nation faces. From universal healthcare coverage to the Green New Deal, the Senate should be leading the way, not keeping us in the dark.
