Thank you for your generosity and steadfast support

Dear Friend,

I used to hear the phrase, “You can never say thank you enough.” I don’t hear that as much anymore, but it’s still true. So in that spirit, and the spirit of the upcoming holiday season, thank you for your generosity and steadfast support of our immigrant and refugee community members. The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is grateful to you for making it possible to further our mission. You have allowed us to protect the rights and address the needs of those in forced or voluntary migration and to assist them as they transition to a dignified life here in the U.S.

With the year coming to a close, we reflect back on the many partnerships that have made it possible for us to provide critical services to new Americans. This year was a special one for us – challenging, yes, but still special. 2021 marks our 110^th anniversary – which means for 110 years, we have partnered with individuals like YOU to assist our new refugee and immigrant neighbors.

You, along with previous generations of caring and generous supporters, are the reason we have been able to welcome thousands of Afghans across the U.S. since September and to provide them and other refugees with resettlement assistance and employment services, to help survivors of human trafficking re-build their lives, and to provide vital medical care to unaccompanied minors.

For all of these reasons and so many more, we want to thank you and remind you that without your dedication and generosity, none of this would be possible.

Our work continues as we welcome the many Afghan refugees and other newcomers who will be resettled in the coming months. That’s why during this holiday season, we ask you to join the countless others before you and give so that USCRI may carry on its important work. Your gift can provide food and shelter for families facing hardship due to the pandemic, legal services to families separated by conflict, assistance enrolling their kids in school and in English classes, and access to other much needed resources. Simply put, your contributions can help our newest neighbors and friends to establish a new home in America.

As the year-end approaches, we ask you to make a generous gift today ([link removed]) so that we can welcome refugees and immigrants into a brighter future – a future of promise, of hope, and of opportunity. Together, we can transform lives.

From all of us at USCRI, thank you very much,

Kevin Sturtevant, CFRE
