We need your expertise and your support!

2022 will be a critical year for California and A Voice for Choice Advocacy has bold plans for the future, both in respect to stopping medical mandates for all ages, as well as for our #GetToxinsOut Campaign. Until now our organization has relied on interns and unpaid volunteers, including myself, to get the bulk of our work done. AVFCA also has two lobbyists hired to help with bills in Sacramento. These have gotten us through our formative years, but as we continue to grow in educating and advocating for informed choice and transparency of what goes into people’s bodies, we need to also grow the team that is leading these efforts.

A Voice for Choice Advocacy needs your help in two ways so we can work even harder for you in California:

1) Grow our Team - Help find the amazing people to fill these roles and
2) Support our Team - Donate to ensure we can sustain our growing organization

Details below:

1) Grow our Team: At A Voice for Choice Advocacy, are looking to build a culture that is non-judgmental, intellectually rigorous, values-driven that thinks outside the box. A Voice for Choice Advocacy is excited to share that we are hiring for five roles to join our team. Ideal candidates will be curious, care deeply about informed choice and health rights, and be highly motivated to drive large-scale change.

- Legislative Director (30-40 hours a week, less than 2 hours from Sacramento) – 2022 is set to be a busy year in Sacramento, so AVFCA is seeking an experienced legislative advocate to be the face of our lobbying efforts in Sacramento, alongside Christina.

- No Medical Mandates Director (30-40 hours a week, location flexible within CA) – AVFCA is looking for a highly motivated change maker to run our grassroots efforts against medical mandates, working closely with the legislative director, to prevent and remove mandates for vaccines, testing and masking on a grassroots level.

- #GetToxinsOut Director (30-40 hours a week, location flexible within CA) – AVFCA is looking for an impact driven community builder to set up and run our #GetToxinsOut Program which primarily deals with removing toxins, such as glyphosate, quats and bleach and EMF, from schools.

- PR/Media Director (15-25 hours a week, location flexible within CA) – AVFCA is seeking an experienced communicator and marketer to write pieces for our blog, as well as upkeep our website content and put out media alerts/releases, based on our legislative and grassroots efforts.

- Fundraising Director (15-25 hours a week, location flexible within CA) – AVFCA is looking for a successful fundraiser to direct our donor efforts, making AVFCA self-sustainable for the future.

All positions are contracted positions. Our application process is open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. However, priority will be given to applications submitted on or before Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

If you, a friend, or colleague is interested in applying your skills to support the movement for health rights, we encourage you to learn more and share with others: [link removed] [[link removed]]

2) Support our Team: Over the last 7 years A Voice for Choice Advocacy, and our sister organization, A Voice for Choice, have been sustained only by grassroots donations. We are so thankful to everyone who has generously donated. We will never take any government or corporate donations, which means that we need your help to make our efforts sustainable. In order to be able to hire amazing people into these roles, A Voice for Choice Advocacy is launching our largest fundraising campaign to date. We have a donor who is willing to match dollar for dollar every penny we raise between now and the end of the year. If you appreciate the work A Voice for Choice Advocacy is doing and want to ensure our efforts grow, please donate as generously as you can:
