Earlier this morning I voted with my Democratic colleagues to pass the Build Back Better Act. I’m proud to share with you that with a vote of 220-213, House Democrats successfully passed this historic package!

What does this mean? While this bill makes its way to the Senate, House Democrats have been able to deliver a $1.7 trillion investment in America that will: 

• Allow Medicare to negotiate Rx drug costs;
• Expand the ACA to make health insurance more affordable;
• Provide universal pre-k to 3 & 4-year-olds across the country;
• Extend the benefits of the expanded child tax credit;
• Help us reduce energy costs, cut pollution, and fund efforts to combat the climate crisis.

John: These are just some of the ways the Build Back Better Act will improve the lives of hardworking Americans everywhere.
