I worked hard in high school to receive scholarships to attend college. I worked hard in college and graduated a year early. I worked full-time during graduate school and took classes at night. I work full-time while running for Congress.
Hard work doesn’t scare me.
What scares me is that I am pouring everything I have into this campaign and the incumbent has a steady flow of corporate PAC money keeping her afloat. By opening the floodgates of Big Money she has already raised more than $1 million dollars, meanwhile less than 3% of that is from donors giving less than $200. We fight for every donation, which is why 95% of my donors have given less than $200.
All our incumbent candidate has to do is accept ONE check from a corporation and she receives our entire monthly fundraising goal in ONE day.
I wish it wasn’t this way, but it takes money to beat big money. We’re less than 24 hours from our monthly deadline and we need to raise another $1,386 to hit our monthly fundraising goal. Can I count on you to start a $25, $50, or even $100 recurring donation that will supercharge our future goals and allow us to hire a field director?
