Hi team, I have big news to share with you: 

The Build Back Better Act just passed the House — legislation to close the Medicaid coverage gap, lower prescription drug prices, address the climate crisis, guarantee universal pre-k, and more.

The House did their part, now it’s the Senate’s turn to get this historic legislation on President Biden’s desk and make good on our promise of Building Back Better for our working families.

Will you join me in calling on the Senate to pass the Build Back Better Act and continue delivering the change American families deserve? All of us speaking out helped secure the historic infrastructure package earlier this month, and we’ll need to come together again to get the job done.

I won’t sugarcoat it, getting this legislation across the finish line won’t be easy. Senate Republicans have made it clear they don’t support making child care, health care, and prescription drugs more affordable. Heck, Rick Scott even recently called higher costs for working families a political “gold mine.”

Well, I’m not going to stay quiet while Republicans play political football with people’s lives. It’s time to pass this historic bill and deliver the change millions of Americans voted for.
