Subject: The stakes are high for AG races in 2022.

Friend,

The 2022 midterms are just one year away. Before we get there, there’s a hard truth we have to reckon with: Down ballot races, like those for Attorney General, are too often overlooked. And that’s especially true in a midterm year, when far fewer voters turn out.

It’s a hard pill to swallow, but it means that if we want to be successful next year, we can’t wait to start building the infrastructure we need to win. So team, can you chip in $3 or whatever you can right now?

Races for Attorney General may not be first on the ballot when voters step into that booth next November, but make no mistake, they’re just as important.

Our Democratic AGs are pulling out all the stops to make sure President Biden’s agenda is implemented and protected – they’re often the final firewall against an increasingly extreme GOP agenda.

Republican AGs are suing the Biden Administration on everything from the American Rescue Plan to the border wall, and more than a year later many of them are still hell-bent on spreading the Big Lie. Our democracy is quite literally on the line in so many of our target states next year, and we need to elect as many Dem AGs as we can.

That work starts right now, by building the resources we need to plan ahead and organize our way to victory next November. We need you with us, friend.
