With redistricting in full swing here in Georgia, it’s critical that we stay engaged to prevent Republicans from undermining our democracy in yet another way: by rigging the maps.

Redistricting only happens once every ten years. After last decade’s redistricting, it took historic elections for Democrats to regain even the slimmest of majorities! If we sit by and watch them, they’ll take it even further this year, putting our U.S. House majority in jeopardy.

For the sake of all the progress we’ve made in Georgia, we CAN’T let that happen. Will you pitch in to our Georgia Legal Defense Fund now and help us fight for fair maps?

Georgia Republicans’ goal is simple: To ensure the GOP gains control over more seats than their share of the statewide vote. Combined with Republicans’ draconian voter suppression laws, it could be a disaster for our democracy.

Right now we have a chance to fight to make sure the maps that will define Georgia for the next ten years are fair. When Republicans inevitably try to pass rigged maps, we need to make sure we have the resources to challenge them in court.
