The Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that was signed into law this week is an important piece of legislation that will help our economy and our quality of life in countless ways. This historic bill invests billions of dollars into Arizona and where we need it most:
- Repairing crumbling roads and bridges
- Public transportation systems
- Bringing high-speed internet access to rural Arizona
- Improving our airports
- Repairing dams and funding the Drought Contingency Plan
- Investing in critical wildfire management programs, including raising pay for firefighters
