Thank goodness, Gov. Tony Evers just
shut down another Republican attempt to rig our democracy.
The GOP-controlled state legislature sent new congressional maps to his desk, where he vetoed them after calling it like it is:
Gerrymandering 2.0. Even though Wisconsin remains a 50-50 state politically, rigged maps have made it so the GOP controls over 60% of the seats in the legislature no matter what.
But we haven’t won fairer maps yet. Republicans are going to stop at nothing to inject partisanship in what is
supposed to be a fair and clear redistricting process. This is why we must do everything we can to re-elect Governor Evers.
