The Build Back Better Act just passed the House! Without our Justice Democrats fighting in Congress, progressive priorities would have been cut from this bill.

We only have things like Medicare expansion, paid family and medical leave, universal pre-K, and action on climate change in this bill because of the Squad, Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, Pramila Jayapal, and our other Justice Democrats in Congress. Progressives have never wielded this much power in Congress to protect policies that will help the people and the environment.

But this is only a big first step, John.

Now, we need to continue our pressure on conservative Democrats in the Senate to protect progressive policies in this big bill.

THEN, we need to elect more Justice Democrats to Congress so we can pass Medicare for All and a Green New Deal. We must transform the Democratic Party so we have a majority willing to pass single-payer health care and the drastic action we need to address the climate crisis.
