Its Road Safety Week!

This week is Road Safety Week (15-21 November) and the theme this year is Road Safety Heroes! We're celebrating the heroic work of road safety professionals, and helping to explain how we can all make journeys safer for everyone.

In line with Government guidance, it is recommended people continue to wear face coverings, unless exempt.

All operators in the city continue to clean vehicles thoroughly on a regular basis, and windows on buses will be kept open for ventilation.

  • Plan ahead - avoid peak hours and routes

Severn Trent Water replacement scheme

Severn Trent will be undertaking a scheme to replace water mains on various roads in the Forest Fields area from July 2021. This will include rolling road closures and parking suspensions in 100m sections to excavate and install new water mains in the highway..

Road closure at the junction of Gladstone Street to the junction of Laurie Avenue.

25 November - 11 January: Ewart Road

Road closure at the junction Gladstone Street to the junction of Laurie Avenue.

Road closure at the junction of Radford Road to the junction of Harcourt Road.

Road closure at the junction of Exeter Road to the junction of Harcourt Road.

Road closure at the junction of Premiere Road to the junction of Radford Road.

Road closure at the junction of Stanley Road to the junction of Harcourt Road.

Road closure at the junction of Gregory Boulevard to the junction of Bentinck Road and Mount Hooton Road.
