Team, we have some big news to share with you: John’s first bill was just signed into law!

This week, President Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Package into law including John’s RECHARGE Act — legislation to combat climate change by lowering the cost of electricity for electric vehicle drivers.

More than 30% of greenhouse gas emissions come from transportation, so to fight climate change, we need to change the way we drive.

The problem is, electric car charging stations sometimes cost folks much more than regular electricity — John’s RECHARGE Act changes that.

This may be our first bill signed into law, but it surely won’t be the last. John’s working hard to fight climate change and get things done in Washington. But if we’re going to keep making progress, it’s critical that we protect our fragile Senate majority.
