There is a possibility that we won’t elect environmental champions to office in Washington and it will have scary consequences. But we still have time to make an impact.
We have a chance to elect environmental champions to local offices all over the Washington. But only if we act quickly.
If we don’t, we could see more fossil fuel terminals in our communities, more pollution in our precious Puget Sound, and attempts to roll back environmental protections that safeguard our families, our communities, and make Washington a great place to live.
There is a lot at stake. What is the future that we want? As our state grows, we can make smart and innovative choices that drive climate action forward and that protect our land, air, and water. But we can’t do that without the right people in office.
In Washington, we have a history of electing environmental leaders. But that doesn’t happen without hard work and your support.
So let’s do it again. WCV has been working hard this election season to make sure your environmental values become political priorities. Now we just need to finish strong.
