Say it with me: It doesn't matter who wins in 2020 if Republicans sweep state legislatures and get to redraw the district lines to fit their own agenda. I wish winning the White House was a one-size-fits-all solution to our problems, but it's not -- and it's on you and I, as people who care, to make sure that Democrats win at every level in every election.

It's not an either/or situation! We saw in 2018 that having a state legislative candidate on the ballot -- any state legislative candidate -- increased voter turnout by at least 1%. And in elections that matter, well, 1% can absolutely make the difference between a win for us and a win for the other side.
