What better way to celebrate the spookiest time of the year than taking a tour through McConnell’s legislative graveyard?
Here lies the hundreds of bills the Democratic House has passed since January that Mitch McConnell has outright refused to bring to a vote:
R.I.P Reauthorizing of the Violence Against Women Act
R.I.P Sweeping gun control legislation
R.I.P. Increasing the minimum wage
R.I.P. The Promise and Dream Act
R.I.P. The Equality Act
These bills can and should be laws, team, not victims of McConnell’s graveyard.
That’s why it’s so important we do everything we can to expand and protect our Democratic majority in the House and do whatever it takes to flip the Senate and White House in 2020.
The decisions politicians make can have life or death consequences, and with Republicans in charge, those odds are scary.
