The team at Newstead Abbey has a tale to tell this festive period as Storybook Christmas returns. New for this year is a Christmas legend and a much-loved story - The Nutcracker written by E.T.A Hoffmann, and used as the basis for the 1892 Tchaikovsky ballet.
Be enthralled by stunningly dressed rooms specially dressed to Christmas as you tour the historic house. Â
Each weekend (Sat-Sun), there will also be a craft market in the cloisters with a range of local handmade goods. The craft stalls can be accessed either as part of the Storybook Christmas house tour, or via the shop if you're just visiting the gardens.Â
When you make your booking, why not add Festive Afternoon Tea to your experience, or even a full Christmas dinner which is available every Sunday

________________________________________________________________________
Times like these require a band like Nottingham's own Sleaford Mods. Except, of course, there are no other bands like Sleaford Mods. Theyâre back with new album âSpare Ribsâ and a UK Tour, stopping off in their hometown.
âSpare Ribsâ is the sound of a band so sure of their own sonic terrain that they can now explore its outer regions. Sleaford Mods really are an essential part of Britainâs musical anatomy.
