** Incredible new film hears from the pioneers who gave us the National Parks
------------------------------------------------------------
An incredible new film with actress Caroline Quentin, star of TV and stage, features the voices of the visionaries of the environmental movement as they describe the early days of the National Parks in their own words. The six-minute film from Campaign for National Parks, the charity originally set up to establish the National Parks, has been released to mark the 70th anniversary of the National Parks.

Throughout the summer holidays the film was featured in the Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre, where around 13,000 visitors saw the film as part of an exhibit by Northumberland National Park Authority and Campaign for National Parks.

In the meeting, several panel members of the Review will discuss their proposals including new ambitions for wildlife, people and protection. They will also answer questions from our diverse audience including key organisations that fed into the report, officials and experts.
