Friend, Here’s what the Detroit News recently wrote about Michigan Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin’s tough reelection fight one year out from next year’s midterm: “[Elissa’s] seat is viewed among the most vulnerable in the country. In an off-election year, several conservative or GOP-aligned groups are spending on attack ads against her -- about $1.4 million…” Friend, we can’t keep a Democratic majority in the U.S. House of Representatives if Elissa loses. And, for Elissa to win, she urgently needs to build a campaign strong enough to fight the $1.4 million in right-wing attacks. Elissa knows a thing or two about winning close elections. In 2020, she won Michigan’s 8th District by just 15,000 votes. That’s why her team has a plan to win. They’re calling it the “District-Day Plan” because they want to hit the ground running. That means doing everything from building new volunteer networks to purchasing digital ads in more media markets. The bottom line is this: Elissa can win the most competitive district in Michigan, but she can't do it alone. Thank you ahead of time for making sure Elissa wins! Debbie Debbie Stabenow
