This Friday is Full Beaver Moonday.

That means this month’s full moon falls exactly one week before Black Friday — or as we at Culture Jammers HQ like to call it, [Buy Nothing Day]([link removed]).

So, in the screen-free light of the full moon (and in the post-COP26 darkness), take a minute for a gut check.

#

Think about the thousands of generations of humans and animals that have stared at that same moon before you. Think about what it means now for our generation to be facing an existential crisis and an unknown future. What will become of that wild joyous feeling of revelling in the moonlight, hearing the wolves howl, and being as wild as your spirit moves you to be?

#

And then go home and try to figure out what it all means . . . and what you’re going to do about it.
