We’re excited to announce that you’ve been assigned a representative to pressure based on where you live.

National Nurses United

There are four representatives in Congress who are holding out on co-sponsoring this year’s Medicare for All bill — even though they’ve previously sponsored Medicare for All legislation in the past! 🤔

We know that more pressure is needed to convince them to finally sign on. So, we’re excited to announce that you’ve been assigned a representative based on where you live!

Your assigned rep: Rep. Albio Sires, NJ-08

You can see how we’re divided up the country here:

In order to put the pressure on, we’re asking you to send a letter to your assigned priority representative. We’ll total up the numbers and keep you updated on our progress!

Will you send a letter to Rep. Albio Sires right now urging him to sign on again as a Medicare for All cosponsor? Every letter will get sent directly to his office.

Not only are we mobilizing national pressure, we’re also organizing on the ground and through local media. We hosted car caravans in each of the four priority districts earlier this month, sent 16,000 postcards written by close to 800 volunteers to supporters in these four districts, and ran print ads in local newspapers.

You can take a look at them here:

These letters from all of you are a key next step in building our pressure on these four representatives to step up and take a stand for the transformational health care reform we desperately need.

Please send your letter to Rep. Albio Sires right now urging him to sign on again as a Medicare for All cosponsor.
