🎃 Happy Halloween 🎃 - it’s a scary and exciting time! The Virginia election is only a few days away! We are proud to endorse Delegate Kathy Tran for re-election and wish her all the best on Tuesday.

As 2020 rapidly approaches, the AAPI Clearinghouse is convening monthly strategy calls to coordinate national AAPI community outreach. Our special guests have included Linh Nguyen and Phil Kim from Senator Cory Booker’s campaign, as well as Olympic Figure Skater Michelle Kwan from Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign. This is an exciting election: 3 AAPIs are running for president, 2 campaign managers are AAPI, and we occupy staff positions at all levels! To support VA Delegate Kathy Tran, our Young Professionals spent a weekend knocking on doors in Virginia. We spoke to constituents and encouraged them to vote on Tuesday, November 5th!

In October, we hosted a fundraiser for Representative Andy Kim from New Jeresy’s 3rd Congressional District. Rep. Kim’s record of supporting progressive policies and fighting for justice aligns with our values, and we are proud that Rep. Kim is a tireless advocate for our community.
