#NoMore U.S. intervention in Ethiopia!

Actions taking place worldwide THIS SUNDAY

The ANSWER Coalition urges our supporters to participate in an important upcoming day of action initiated by activists in the Ethiopian-American and Eritrean-American communities, affiliated with @HornofAfricaHub <[link removed]>, to protest growing U.S. interventionism in the Horn of Africa.?

Details for many local actions are being finalized, check here for the latest information <[link removed]>

The U.S. government has been offering its support to the insurgency launched last year by the TPLF armed group in the northern Ethiopian province of Tigray. Once again, a fake narrative about human rights and protecting civilians is being spun to justify U.S. meddling in the sovereign affairs of a targeted country. The reality is that the TPLF, while only representing a small fraction of the country, dominated Ethiopia's government for decades and built a close alliance with the United States. It is now trying to regain its power, and deal damage to their long-time enemy Eritrea, using brutal violence.

The people of Ethiopia and Eritrea do not want to become the latest victims of U.S. "regime change". The examples of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and so many other countries show that this brings nothing but more violence and suffering. Take to the streets this Sunday and demand U.S. hands off Ethiopia and Eritrea!
