The 2021 November election did not go as we hoped. Even though we won the Mayor’s race in the city, across the state, Trump-lite candidates swept longtime Democratic seats and turned districts from blue-to-red. In southern Brooklyn, a wave of voters came out and very nearly defeated strong candidates with a proven track record of delivering for their districts. We need to get to work now if we want to hold onto this State Senate seat.

Trumpism is here to stay and we need to be ready to fight it. This is about more than Democrats and Republicans; it is about the viability of our democracy moving forward. That’s why it is so critical that we start organizing now. Will you get involved today?

We need to speak to every voter, early and often. We need to be present with supporters in every part of the district, listening to the concerns of all voters. We have to stand tall in our convictions and never waiver on the Southern Brooklyn values that make this district special. We will need to fight harder than ever to continue representing the voters of Brooklyn. Can I count on your support?
