Team, Tom recently got featured in an op-ed published in
Urban Milwaukee highlighting his similarities to Russ Feingold! He and the former Senator share these qualities:
- They aren’t millionaires (or billionaires!)
- They are or were the underdogs in their respective Senate primary races
- They’re both populist progressives running to help the people
Russ beat the odds when he won his Senate primary in 1992 against millionaire opponents. Help Tom do the same by donating today→

Just like Russ, Tom is running to bring change to Wisconsin and get rid of the power corporate interests have on our democracy. Unlike other politicians, he won’t compromise on his determination to improve the lives of everyday working Americans.
He also isn’t afraid to come out and say he’s different from the rest. Tom proudly refuses to accept
any money from Big Pharma, Big Oil, or any other corporate interests. That’s because he believes a people-powered movement is the best way to ensure progress is made that benefits us all.
Thanks to these qualities and more, the op-ed author said, "There’s no question in my mind that, if he could make it through the primary,
Nelson would have the best chance of beating Ron Johnson..."
John, keep the momentum going by contributing $10 today→
Thanks,
Team Nelson
