Earlier this week, President Biden signed the bipartisan infrastructure deal into law. These historic, once-in-a-generation investments will grow our economy and create good-paying jobs — but this isn’t the time to let up. 

Now’s the time for Congress to make good on the rest of the Biden-Harris agenda by passing the Build Back Better Act, which includes:

• The largest investment in climate action in history, with $555 billion to decarbonize and promote clean energy
• Universal pre-K and new investments to ensure affordable child care and home care for parents and caregivers
• An expansion of affordable health care to lower premiums and close the Medicaid coverage gap
• New investments in access to higher education, including at Historically Black Colleges & Universities, minority-serving institutions, and Tribal Colleges & Universities
• An extension of the Child Tax Credit for an additional year
• Immigration relief to keep families together and make the system more humane
• Unprecedented funding for affordable housing and rental assistance
