John,
Earlier this week, President Biden signed the bipartisan infrastructure bill into law. This historic legislation will make tremendous investments to protect our environment and combat climate change, but Chris knows our work isn't done yet.
That's one of the reasons why Chris is fighting hard to pass the Build Back Better Act. Read our email from earlier this week to find out more about this critical legislation, then sign Chris' petition to show your support for the Build Back Better Act.

Subject: The big, bold legislation we need to tackle the climate crisis
Friend,
Earlier today, President Biden signed the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act into law. This critical, bipartisan legislation will make tremendous investments to protect our environment and combat climate change. It included $73 billion for clean energy infrastructure and carbon capture technology and $46 billion for climate resilience, including $26 million for the Delaware River Basin Restoration Program.
Chris played an integral role in getting this bipartisan infrastructure package across the finish line, but he knows we aren't done yet. Chris understands that climate change poses one of the greatest threats to our world. That's why last week he led a bipartisan group of senators to the climate summit in Glasgow to advocate for solutions to this crisis.
In the Senate, Chris is also fighting for more investments for our environment through the Build Back Better Act. The Build Back Better Act will deliver the largest investment to combat climate change in American history -- $555 billion dollars.
In addition, the Build Back Better Act creates a Civilian Climate Corps, a program Chris has long championed. A Civilian Climate Corps would put folks to work making our most vulnerable communities more resilient to climate change.
The Build Back Better Act is exactly the kind of big, bold legislation we need to tackle the climate crisis. Will you show your support for getting this crucial investment package passed next?
