John,
I know you've heard from my team a lot lately, but that's because this is such an important moment for our grassroots campaign: Just as Republicans are ramping up their efforts to unseat me, I'm about to head into a fundraising blackout.
Because you're one of my top supporters, I know you'll agree that it's more important than ever to keep New Mexico blue. Republicans are using their power in states across the country to unleash a wave of voter suppression laws, fan the flames of hate, and sow division – but I won't let that happen here in New Mexico.
It's up to the people – that means you, John – to stand up for your rights, your community, and our democracy. So will you join me in this fight, John?
To keep New Mexico blue, I need to hit my goals every step of the way, and I'm coming up on our biggest fundraising deadline yet. Right now, we urgently need to raise $150,000 before the end of this month, because I won't be able to fundraise from December through March during the legislative session while my opponents can. Please, give whatever you can now.
With everything on the line in this election, I can't afford to let my resources run dry during this fundraising blackout: Will you donate $5 right now to help me keep New Mexico blue?
