Gaza can’t wait, the Senate needs to act now

Dear Email,

A few days ago, AJP Action joined the Friends Committee on National Legislation, Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN) and 70 other national and international organizations in a letter calling on the U.S. Senate to support Senator Sanders amendment to the FY2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which requires a report on the humanitarian impact of severe restrictions on movement, access, and goods in and out of the Gaza Strip and possible solutions to the crisis.

You can read the letter here

Israel’s cruel 14-year blockade and severe restrictions on Gaza have forced more than 80% of Gaza's population to rely on humanitarian aid. As of now, nearly 2 million people have severely limited access to necessities such as clean water, electricity, and food.

Amplify the issue by calling, emailing, and/or tweeting your Senator demanding they address this letter and support Senator Sanders's amendment.

After 14 years of siege #GazaCantWait.

Thank you for your continued fight for Palestine.

Sincerely,

Ayah Ziyadeh

Advocacy Director, AJP Action
