The Bosnian state, and the Muslim population, under attack again

Bosnia-Herzegovina is currently facing its biggest “existential threat of the post-war period,” warns the chief international peace envoy in the country, if Bosnian Serbs (whose leader is a member of the country’s three-way presidency) continue to dismantle state institutions, and form their own army.

This would undo the agreement that ended the brutal Bosnian War in 1995 and push the country to the precipice of conflict.

As part of Islamophobia Awareness Month, join us as we explore the dangers of anti-Muslim hatred that led to genocide in Bosnia; also growing Islamophobia in Britain and around the world.

A Message from Bishop Sarah, Chair of the UK Commission on Bereavement

Share your experience as an individual

The launch of the Commission’s survey for individuals with experience of bereavement is an important milestone for our work, and for the national conversation about bereavement.

The survey for individuals is available here and the Commission can also work with evidence submitted in other formats, such as via video message or telephone call.

Share your professional experience
Alongside the call for evidence from individuals, the Commission has launched a separate consultation focusing on the experiences of people and organisations who are involved in bereavement services.

please consider sharing your experiences to help inform our report and shape our recommendations. You can submit written evidence to the consultation here. If you would like to submit evidence in a different format, email [email protected]
