Trump Claimed Republican Leaders Wanted Pelosi and Schiff Sued – But It Never Happened
In a bombshell new book by ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl, new details have emerged about Trump’s continued abuse of power and love affair with autocracy. This time, it centers around him trying to use the White House to sue… me. And the Speaker. All because we were doing our jobs.
In a meeting, Trump lied to White House Counsel, saying that the Republican House leadership demanded the White House sue me and Pelosi. And then demanded they carry it out.
Let that sink in. The President of the United States tried to pressure the White House legal team, with a blatantly false lie, to leverage the power of the White House to sue me and the Speaker of the House.
