Democracy & Integrity
The midterms will serve as a barometer of our country’s Democratic values and integrity -- the choice is clear in our race. One of my opponents, Jen Kiggans, won’t admit that President Biden won the 2020 election. She’s feeding into the lies and conspiracy theories that resulted in an unprecedented attack on our democracy. You can count on me to always lead with integrity and to uphold the Democratic values on which our nation was built.

Climate Change
Coastal communities like ours are already experiencing the consequences of climate change. I’m a champion for bold climate action that will help curb greenhouse gas emissions, reduce dependency on fossil fuels, and create good, clean jobs. I’ll never stop fighting for policies to safeguard Coastal Virginians’ homes and livelihoods -- the same can’t be said for my Republican opponents.

Our Democratic House Majority
This seat is vital for maintaining our Democratic House Majority. As you know, Republicans only need to regain five seats to take back control of the House. Republicans just made serious gains in VA-02 with the election of Republican Glenn Youngkin and other Republicans down ballot -- this is going to be my tightest and closest rate yet. We overcame the odds last year, and I know we can do it again -- all the progress our Democratic House Majority has worked for is at stake.
