In the 2020 election, in both my home state of Georgia and Mark Kelly’s home state of Arizona, we demonstrated that years of hard work registering, engaging and mobilizing voters while embracing demographics not as destiny but as opportunity was a recipe for electoral success.

But the most important ingredient in that success was supporters like you who believed victory was achievable and who worked tirelessly to get it done.

Our historic victories were cause for celebration, but that celebration was brief, because both Mark Kelly and Raphael Warnock are back on the ballot next year. In each of our states, we will need to work even harder in 2022 than we did in 2020.

If that thought exhausts you, you’re in good company... but we do not have the luxury of time to waste. Delay, inaction and complacency are not options; we cannot go back and we cannot sit still.

What Mark Kelly did last year with your help — his first time running for office — was remarkable. I know he has what it takes to again withstand the outside spending and negative attacks. It won’t be easy, but Mark is prepared to win a full-term in the Senate, where his continued leadership is needed.

We cannot leave any aspect of this campaign to chance, though, and that’s why I am humbly asking:

As anti-voter politicians work to silence the voices of Arizona voters and voters around the country, Mark will again run a campaign in which every voice is valued — a campaign where no one is unseen, unheard or uninspired.

My father was a shipyard worker and mother a college librarian. Mark comes from similar roots. Hard work, inclusion and service to others is our calling.

But one or two people cannot win an election alone so Mark and I are fortunate to have supporters like you at our side.
