With Thanksgiving in just a week, I hope you're looking forward to some time with family and friends. (And some turkey and stuffing!)
Here's the challenge for me and my campaign team: Thanksgiving falls really close to the end of the month, so I'm worried that if we don't hit our November fundraising goals before the holiday, we won't have enough time to make up what's left afterward. And the closer we get to the GOP-led state legislature redrawing my district, the more evidence we're seeing that the GOP will do all they can to play the same dirty trick on me that led to my predecessor handing their office keys over to a Republican.
The NY Times reported just this week that Republicans are gaining a 2022 House edge because of other states' redistricting processes, so the urgency of fighting every GOP dirty trick in PA is now even greater. That's why it's so crucial that my campaign doesn't fall behind on our November fundraising goal.
But right now we're still $5,800 behind. We're pushing hard to raise the remaining amount by tomorrow, so that we can go into Thanksgiving week in the strongest possible position.
It would mean so much to me if you could rush a contribution to my campaign before tomorrow's deadline. I know that together we can reach this goal and fully fund my Litigation Fund so we have what we need to stop the GOP's redistricting scheme in the courts.
